Giveaway rules settings – OneWarehouse

Description of the rules

Giveaway rules are formulated for synchronized or imported OW orders, with detailed provisions on how to automatically match and attach giveaways. Includes [Specify Order Source], [Specify Receiving Country/Region], [Specify Total Quantity of Ordered Items], [Specify Include Specified Items], [Specify Total Amount of Ordered Items], and [Specify Time of Order] 6 rule items.

Precaution

The giveaway function in OW is completely independent, it is not associated with the platform's giveaway function. If you have already set up a giveaway in the platform, in order to avoid adding giveaways repeatedly, please do not set up the giveaway rules in OW
Giveaway rules are enforced on a priority basis, once a match is successful it stops subsequent matches and each order only gets one eligible giveaway
Currently, the system is set to automatically attach a specific number of freebies to each order according to the rules, and this number is fixed and does not support dynamic accumulation based on the number of items in the order.
A merchant can have a maximum of 10 free gift rules at the same time.

Step1 Creating Rules

In [Settings] >> [Additional Functions] >> [Automatically Add Giveaway Rules] module, click “Go to Settings” to enter [Giveaway Rules] interface.

Click “+Create Rule” in the [Giveaway Rule] interface to create a giveaway rule.

In the [Edit Rule] screen, enter “Rule Name”.

Step2 Selecting a rule item

In the [Rule Setting] module, select the rule item to be added:

Rules can be multi-selected
Checking the rules at the same time means that they need to satisfy the selected conditions to be triggered at the same time.
Do not check rules that do not require a condition to be set.

Step3 Edit rule entries

Specify order source

Check “Synchronize Orders” or “Import Orders”, checking both means that both order import methods support matching gifts.

Synchronization of orders requires the selection of “sales platform” and “sales store”, support multiple selection, unchecked stores will not participate in the rules of the gift

Import orders need to select “import template”, support multiple selection, unchecked templates will not participate in the giveaway rules

Specify country/region of receipt

Select the country/region of the order's receiving area, support multiple selection, when triggering the gift rule matching, the order's receiving country/region is included in the rule, then it is through the

If this rule item is not set, the default is not to check the incoming country/region.

Specify the total number of items in the order

Sets the total number of items condition for giveaway orders:

Minimum value defaults to 0
Maximum value must be entered manually or an error will be reported.
Matching will be successful only when the total number of products in the order (there is no limitation on the number of product types, and combined products are counted as the total number of sub-products) is within the set range.

Designated products included in the designation

You can set up multiple product groups (up to 10 combinations, each combination of up to 10 SKUs), the order only needs to contain any product group is considered to meet the rules of the item. You can specify ordinary products or combination products. Combination products are only calculated based on the quantity of the combined product, not sub-commodities.

Create a product group “by total number of products”: set a total number of products added to the product group, and the sum of the number of products in the order (only the products configured in the rule are counted) must be greater than or equal to the number set in the rule in order to comply with the rule.

Create a product group “per product quantity”: Set the quantity for each product, and the products in the order (only the products configured in the rule are counted) must be greater than or equal to the quantity set here in order to comply with the rule.

Total amount of goods in the specified order

The total amount of the order is set, and the total amount of the order (the combined product is calculated according to the price of the combined product itself) is considered to be passed if it is within the set range:

Minimum value defaults to 0, if no minimum value is set, the minimum value is considered to be 0
Maximum value defaults to unlimited, if no maximum value is set, the maximum value is considered unlimited
The maximum and minimum values are set to at least one

It is recommended to enable automatic currency conversion, if you do not enable automatic currency conversion, the order will be considered failed if the currency does not match the currency of the rules

Specify order time

When the orders synchronized by the platform and the creation time of the orders updated by the platform fall within the scope of this rule item, they are considered to be passed.

Note: This rule only applies to synchronized orders and update orders, and does not take effect for imported orders (if the order source is set up to import orders, the imported orders are directly considered to have passed when they trigger the Matching Giveaway rule)

Step4 Add a giveaway

Set the giveaways that need to be added for this rule:

Click “Add Free Gift”, check the free gift you need to add, click “Finish” (the rules do not support the addition of a combination of goods as a free gift, if you need to add a combination of goods as a free gift, you can manually add in the order editing interface)

Enter the “Unit Price”, “Currency” and “Quantity” of the gift.

Click “Save” when you're done with all the edits

Notes:

If the giveaway item is deactivated, the giveaway will still be matched according to the rules, but will not be shipped because the item is deactivated

If the free product is deleted:

When importing an order, if the rules are met, an exception is thrown: skuId not exists: {sku of deleted item}.
When synchronizing an order, the free item will be added according to the rule and an exception will be thrown: SKU not exists.
